Tech-Savvy Ethiopian Youth Showcase Inventions to Address Community Challenges

Dozens of young Ethiopians took part in a joint U.S.-Japanese sponsored competition over the weekend (Aug. 17) to develop technology-based solutions that address community challenges. "Solve IT!" is an annual innovation competition started last year by Japan’s ICog Labs and the U.S. Embassy. This year's contest brought together 112 young tech entrepreneurs from 15 cities across Ethiopia. Ebba Tesfaye reports from Addis Ababa.
