U.S. President Donald Trump is reassuring Japan that America remains committed to the security and prosperity of the Asia-Pacific region. Standing beside visiting Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe at the White House Friday, Trump vowed to strengthen the U.S. alliance with Japan. VOA's Mary Alice Salinas reports.
