WHO: Number of New Ebola Cases in West Africa Leveling Off

The World Health Organization says the number of new Ebola infections in West Africa is about the same as it was the week before, with a rise in some areas and a decline in others. The United Nations has called for more international help to stem the outbreak, which has infected thousands of people in the region and killed about 5,000. U.S. President Barack Obama on Wednesday asked Congress for more than $6 billion to combat the Ebola virus at its source. Zlatica Hoke reports.
