New York City Studies Response to Rising Seas


The continued warming of the earth's climate is melting mountain glaciers and polar ice sheets and that's causing the world's oceans to rise -- slowly, but surely. Most scientists agree that sea levels could rise by more than one meter by the end of this century, and that could spell trouble for low-lying island nations and coastal cities around the world - such as New York.
