In Washington, the talk around immigration reform is centered on security and sealing the border with Mexico first. But for Arizona farmers, immigration is far more complex. In the winter months, Arizona grows more than 80 percent of certain types of produce consumed in the U.S., and farmers are dependent on migrant labor to get their crops out of the field.
