Africa Conflicts Threaten Economic Growth

At the start of the new year, African leaders and policy makers are already thinking about how recent conflicts in South Sudan and the Central African Republic could affect sub-Saharan Africa’s projected six percent economic growth in 2014. But as Mariama Diallo reports, conflict or not, experts believe changes are needed to maintain the growth achieved in previous years.
