Class Prepares Journalists for Dangerous Assignments


The recent beheading of American aid worker Peter Kassig by Islamic State militants in Syria was a bleak reminder of the dangers facing humanitarians and journalists working in dangerous areas of the world. An innovative program in Washington teaches journalists and others who are working in conflict zones how to reduce their risks. VOA’s Julie Taboh reports.
