Late Jazz Singer Gets His Due in New Documentary

Jimmy Scott was a U.S. jazz singer and songwriter who was revered by fellow musicians but never achieved the fame they thought he deserved. A film about his life, “I Go Back Home, Jimmy Scott,” premiered a couple of weeks ago at the South by Southwest film festival in Austin, Texas. VOA’s Greg Flakus reports.
