Seven religious leaders from Western Equatoria State are urging President Salva Kiir to declare a state of emergency in Tambura County due to ongoing ethnic violence. The Bishop of Yambio/Tambura diocese, Eduardo Hiboro Kusala, emphasized to VOA’s John Tanza that religious leaders and institutions should command respect from uniformed personnel nationwide.
