Seven people suffocated to death after being locked in a container at a military barracks in South Sudan’s Warrap State. The state government says that the victims were illegally detained in Kuajok, and assures that those responsible for the detention will be held accountable. However, James Akec Nhial Deng, who lost five relatives in the incident, holds Warrap State Governor Kuol Muor Muor accountable for the alleged killing of his kinsmen. He spoke with VOA’s John Tanza.
