The medical use of AI raises health worries in developing nations

There’s concern about how artificial intelligence is going to affect people’s health in developing countries, especially in Africa. New medicines increasingly use AI technology. The problem, some scientists say, is that the drugs are being tested on mostly Western populations and may not work well for Africans. VOA’s Darren Taylor explains.
