Young Americans Seek Different Church Experience

The number of Americans who describe themselves as Christians is declining according to a survey by the Pew Research Center. But some Christian churches are experiencing growth and they are not necessarily affiliated with any denomination. Instead, they are connected to other churches through a “network.” Researchers say those churches are drawing people, especially young adults. Elizabeth Lee reports from a church in the city of Long Beach just south of Los Angeles.
