Pakistan Blast Kills 18

Police in Pakistan say a bomb has exploded near a bus carrying Shi'ite Muslim pilgrims to the city of Quetta, killing at least 18 people.

Authorities say the pilgrims were returning from a trip to Iran. They say death toll from Tuesday's blast in Baluchistan province could rise due to several others sustaining critical wounds.

Baluchistan is a restive region that is home to Islamist militants and an insurgency demanding greater autonomy.
