Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad says United Nations sanctions will not stop his country from developing its nuclear program.
According to the Iranian Students News Agency Ahmadinejad Saturday said world powers considering U.N. sanctions against Iran could, in his words, "issue resolutions until" they "get tired."
Ahmadinejad accused world powers of trying to stop Iran's atomic plans with continuous resolutions.
The U.N. security council has already imposed two sets of sanctions on Iran for refusing to stop enriching uranium, which can be used to fuel nuclear reactors or for nuclear weapons.
The United States and its allies have accused Iran of trying to develop atomic weapons. Iran says its nuclear program is for the peaceful production of energy.
