Musician Bo Diddley Improving After Suffering Stroke

Bo Diddley is moving from intensive care to a regular hospital room at Creighton University Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska.

The 78-year-old singer suffered a May 13 stroke after performing two shows at a casino in Council Bluffs, Iowa.

Diddley's business manager Faith Fusillo said the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee suffered little or no physical limitations from the stroke, aside from difficulty with speech and speech recognition.

Publicist Susan Clary said Bo Diddley is awaiting word on when he may be transferred to Shands Medical Center in Gainesville, Florida, near his hometown of Archer, Florida.
