The World Health Organization now reports that there are about 81,000 confirmed cases of the COVID-19 around the globe.

But for the first time the number of new cases outside China is greater than the new cases in China. At least 78,190 cases have been found in China, with 2,718 deaths.

There are now at least 2,790 cases in 37 countries, and 44 deaths outside China, where the disease was first identified.
