Francis Kéré is the first African to win the prestigious Pritzker Architecture Prize. The citation for the international award recognizes “his buildings, for and with communities, are directly of those communities – in their making, their materials, their programs and their unique characters.” Kéré will be presented architecture’s highest honor in London on May 26. Ahead of the ceremony, he spoke with Genia Dulot.
