Hamas political leader assassinated

The political leader of Hamas, Ismail Haniyeh was killed in an airstrike while visiting Tehran. Iran accuses Israel of carrying out the strike, Israel has not commented. This follows an Israeli air strike in Beirut Tuesday evening that killed a Hezbollah commander. Many fear an escalating, regional war.
