Young Dutch farmer Mark Venner takes over the 8th generation family dairy farm and radically changes the farming methods by getting rid of all their cows in exchange for a food forest. Mark’s food forest plans are in line with the government’s policy to cut down nitrogen emission caused by livestock, mainly cows’ manure. Unlike Mark, a large number of farmers are considering the plans to be endangering their livelihood.
