In this first-person account, Jesse John embarks on an ​adventure from Nigeria to Europe as a student of DocNomads, ​a two-year master’s program in documentary directing. In the ​second episode, Jesse is eager to reunite with his family, and prepares to move to Hungary for the next step of the program​ –if he is able to obtain his visa. Before saying goodbye, he ​explores Lagos, Portugal and its link to Lagos, Nigeria, reflecting​ on the past.​
