Car Bombing Kills 4 in Nigerian Christian Neighborhood

A suicide car bomber killed at least four people Sunday in a Christian neighborhood of the northern Nigerian city of Kano.

Police say the blast happened on a street with a number of bars and restaurants.

No one has claimed responsibility. But suspicion is likely to fall on Boko Haram - the Islamic militant group using terrorism to set up a conservative Islamic state in northern Nigeria.

Boko Haram is still holding 276 schoolgirls hostage, having kidnapped them from their village last month.

Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan and other African leaders attended a French-organized meeting in Paris Saturday on ways to deal with the terrorists.
