VOA Documentary: Displaced

Embed
VOA contributor Greta Van Susteren and a camera crew visited the Kutupalong refugee camp in Bangladesh to hear the stories of murder and rape from the Rohingya Muslims evicted from Mynamar.

Although they're now "safe", the refugees were depressed, isolated, prevented from attending school or working, and targeted by extremists and traffickers. As the monsoon season hit, the crew saw a system struggling to keep up with the need for food, supplies, and medicines. But they also found stories of hope.
