Northeastern Nigeria Faces Famine


Aid agencies warn that northeastern Nigeria is facing a famine. The Boko Haram conflict has displaced over two million people. Militants have stolen livestock and insecurity has disrupted trade and is preventing many families from returning their farms. The situation is particularly precarious for tens of thousands of children. For VOA, Chika Oduah has more from Maiduguri.
