THE HUMANITARIAN SITUATION IN SOUTHERN KORDOFAN IS WORSENING EVERYDAY. REPORTS FROM AREAS CONTROLLED BY THE SUDAN PEOPLES LIBERATION ARMY NORTHERN SECTOR SAYS CIVILIANS ARE HIDING IN CAVES AND ARE CONSTSANTLY BOMBED BY SUDAN GOVERNMNET PLANES. RYAN BOYETTE IS AN AMERICAN AID WORKER WHO HAS BEEN BASED IN SOUTHERN KORDOFAN FOR THE PAST 8 YEARS. HE STAYED ON AFTER INTERNATIONAL AID WORKERS WERE PULLED OUT DUE TO FIGHTING IN THE STATE. HE IS WORKING CLOSELY WITH THE SATELLITE SENTINEL PROJECT, HELPING TO EXPOSE ATROCITIES BY KHARTOUM AGAINST THE CIVILIAN NUBA POPULATION IN THE STATE.
