Ben Carson has drawn criticism for his stance regarding Muslims in the United States. Carson is appealing to voters who are suspicious of the adherents of Islam, and fear that Muslims may be shielding terrorists. Carson on Sunday said he would not advocate putting a Muslim in charge of the United States, his televised remarks coming days after Donald Trump got in trouble for failing to admonish a supporter who insulted Muslims.
