While African Americans tend to vote for Democratic party presidential candidates, their level of turnout in the 2016 election could be an important factor in determining who is elected the next president of the United States, especially in a tight race. While energizing black voters to turn out may be causing some concern for the Democratic party, leaders in communities of color say this is good news because they want to hold candidates of both parties, Republican and Democrat, accountable to ensure their voices are heard. VOA's Ramon Taylor reports from New York.
