Egyptians Celebrate Eid Al-Fitr

The Holy month of Ramadan ends according to lunar calendar in most of the Arab countries on the 5th of July, followed the next day by Eid Al-Fitr in Egypt, Qatar, Palestine, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Syria, Sudan, Libya, Tunisia, Bahrain and Emirates. In one of the biggest open air praying yard in Egypt, 15,000 Egyptian Muslims gathered for prayers and celebrating the first day of Eid. VOA’s Hamada Elrasam have more from Cairo.
