A history of the national movement of Crimean Tatars as a background to on-going abuses against native Crimean Tatars, religious and ethnic minorities, and those who oppose the Russian occupation of Crimea. Mustafa Jamilev, former Chairman of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar People and a member of the Ukrainian Parliament since 1998, joins human rights monitors and defenders who have been documenting hate crimes, including physical violence and vandalism.
