Fifty years after Martin Luther King Jr.'s assassination, his dream of eradicating poverty through social movement remains relevant today. As a tribute to King’s legacy, the Smithsonian's National Museum of African American History and Culture, and the National Museum of American History, have collaborated on an exhibition that is not just about poverty but American democracy and political and social change.
