Fifty years ago this month, the then-Soviet Union shocked the world by invading its supposed communist ally, Czechoslovakia. But, back in Moscow, the Soviet invasion also prompted a protest at home that would become a seminal moment in now Russia's human rights and pro-democracy movement.
