Sunday's general election in the Democratic Republic of Congo took place amid instability and Ebola outbreak in the country's east, and after delays caused by heavy rain and malfunctioning voting machines. The election is expected to bring the country's first peaceful transfer of power since independence in 1960. Voters were choosing a new president and legislative body, as well as provincial governments. VOA'S Zlatica Hoke reports.
