Oscar-winning American singer-actor Cher traveled to Pakistan Friday to mark the newfound freedom of a 35-year-old elephant, whom she campaigned to move out of abusive captivity in a Pakistani zoo. Thanks to Cher and Austria-based animal rights group, Four Paws, the elephant named Kaavan was being prepared Sunday to be flown out of Pakistan aboard a special cargo plane to a wildlife sanctuary in Cambodia.
