Haiti National Police fired tear gas at journalists covering a peaceful anti-government protest in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, Feb. 10, 2021. Three journalists went to the Western Department Bureau to file a complaint against the action with the bureau director. He told the journalists he could make no guarantees but would bring their complaint to the National Police Chief and encourage him to investigate the incident and discipline those found guilty of attacking the media.
