Thousands of health care workers in New York received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine as the deadline for a statewide vaccination mandate neared. Workers at New York hospitals and nursing homes had until Monday to get their first vaccine dose or lose their jobs.  More with VOA’s Mariama Diallo.
