Tens of Thousands Protest the Netanyahu Government in Israel
Tens of thousands of Israelis came out to protest the Netanyahu government. It’s the largest protest since the start of the October 7th war in Gaza. Netanyahu turned over the reins of the Israeli government temporarily Sunday to have surgery. We talk with Atalia Omer, PhD Professor of Religion, Conflict, and Peace Studies Kroc Institute for International Peace Studies/Sociology at the University of Notre Dame. He says he’ll be back after a short recovery. The Palestinian Authority forms a new government. In Turkey, a defeat for the ruling national party in municipal elections.
