Singer-songwriter Sydney Sherrill recently released her debut album 17 Young and Stunning which dips between real and fantasy, telling stories through a variety of musical styles while staying true to her natural twang. The 12-track LP finds Sydney reminiscing of her 17-year-old life, touching on relatable experiences that teenagers go through – from finding love to dealing with heartbreak, and the desire to seek a new life beyond suburbia. The project features her latest single “Boy In The Blue Cadillac” which highlights Sydney’s undeniable vocal prowess over soulful guitar riffs as she speaks on newfound freedom after leaving a fleeting relationship. Elsewhere on the album are previous releases “Kiss and Tell,” speaking on a messy situationship between friends that isn’t built to last, and title track “17 Young and Stunning” which sees Sydney putting her heart on the line as she makes her feelings known to someone who is more than just a friend.
