Kurds Say They Abide by UN Ceasefire in Syria

The spokesman of Kurdish YPG militant group in Northern Syria Nuri Mahmoud on Monday told VOA that his forces will respect a U.N. resolution demanding a 30-day truce across the country to allow aid access and medical evacuation. But Turkey, which has welcomed the resolution, says the truce will not impact its offensive against the YPG in northern Syria’s city of Afrin.
