The playlist of mostly current tunes includes artists like Hatim Ammor (Morocco), Noura Mint Seymali (Mauritania), Emmanuel Jal & Nyaruach (South Sudan), Teni (Nigeria), Rayvanny (Tanzania), Sho Madjozi (South Africa) and more. Song of the week is “Ungondibwelezera” by R&B singer/guitarist Lulu from Malawi. Kwame Ofori joins me in the studio to present that, and popular radio presenter Samed Gaida from one our affiliate station Diamond FM 93.7 in Tamale, Ghana brings us an interview with one of Ghana’s biggest reggae artists and radio personalities Blakk Rasta. Find out all about his 32-track album Timbuktoo By Road (2019) and his unique style of music – Kuchoko! Finally we take it back to 1957 Malawi for our vintage feature with Nyanja xylophone music.
