AMBASSADOR DANIEL KURTZER, FORMER U.S. AMBASSADOR TO EGYPT AND ISRAEL A conversation with Ambassador Daniel Kurtzer, now professor in Middle East Policy Studies at Princeton University, about Secretary of State John Kerry’s efforts to revive Middle East peace talks and the situation in Egypt.  Ambassador Kurtzer tells host Carol Castiel and VOA senior correspondent Meredith Buel that Washington is right to press Israelis and Palestinians to make compromises for peace at this time and that the United States should urge the Egyptian military and interim civilian government to continue reaching out to the Muslim Brotherhood despite their refusal to join the new cabinet.
