DC Celebrates National Ice Cream Day

This month marks National Ice Cream Month in the United States…a time to celebrate a food enjoyed by 90 percent of Americans. And the third Sunday of the month is National Ice Cream Day. So on Sunday, July 21, hundreds of people gathered in Washington to celebrate the frozen treat. VOA’s Brandon Goldner was at the event, where the competition got a little frigid.
