Science in a Minute 103118 Scientists Find Evidence of Unrest in Early Solar System

Scientists at the Southwest Research Institute, in San Antonio, Texas recently studied the Patroclus-Menoetius binary asteroid system, located in a ring of asteroids orbiting Jupiter. They found that the existence of the binary asteroid suggests a battle among the outer gas giant planets early in the history of the solar system.
