A new study published in the journal, “Psychology Frontiers”, suggests people with high stress levels take a 20 minute break to walk or sit in an area that provides a connection with nature. The researchers say they found evidence that a person’s cortisol or human stress hormone levels drops significantly after taking one of these nature breaks.
