Indonesian Police Find Explosives Hidden in Cemetery

Indonesian authorities have discovered a stockpile of explosives hidden in a cemetery in restive Central Sulawesi province, the scene of numerous clashes between Muslims and Christians in recent years.

Police said Monday the explosives already had been assembled into home-made bombs, some loaded with shrapnel.

Investigators found 123 of the explosive devices Sunday in a Muslim graveyard in the town of Poso, 1,500 kilometers from Jakarta in the eastern part of the Indonesian archipelago.
