Robbers in Moscow Steal $1 Million, Kill Guard

Armed robbers in Moscow have attacked an armored bank truck, killing one security guard and wounding another while stealing more than $1 million.

Police in Moscow say three security guards were leaving a branch of Vneshtorgbank Bank early Wednesday when three masked assailants in a vehicle opened fire on them.

One guard was killed and another was wounded. The third guard, the driver of the armored vehicle, was not injured.

A spokesman for the Moscow prosecutor's office said the unidentified robbers got away with more than $1 million in U.S., euro and ruble currency.
