NATO says a joint Afghan and international security force has captured a Taliban sub-commander and killed several insurgents.

Elsewhere in Afghanistan, officials say a suicide bomber has killed two security guards and two civilians in the southern region of the country.
The Interior Ministry says the bomber, who was on foot, targeted the guards Sunday at a bazaar in the Sahjoy district of Zabul province.
Twelve people were wounded in the bomb blast.
