American Reportedly Killed in Libya's Benghazi

Medical and security sources in the volatile Libyan city of Benghazi say unidentified gunmen have killed a U.S. citizen working at an international school there.

The attackers shot the American man, who was an instructor at the school, early Thursday. No one claimed responsibility for the shooting. There was no U.S. statement on the incident.

In late 2012, Islamist militants assaulted the U.S. consulate in Libya's second city, killing the U.S. ambassador to Libya.
