A powerful storm system that blew across the midwestern United States on Sunday has left at least two people dead and destroyed scores of homes.
The storm triggered tornadoes in the states of Iowa, Kansas and Oklahoma, where the fatalities occurred. The state's governor has issued a state of emergency for more than a dozen counties.
