Shortly after a new Russian module docked with the ISS, its thruster accidentally fired and changed the space station’s alignment and attitude. NASA later determined that the incident caused the space station to flip over one and a half times before ground crews stabilized it. The space agency says the change in attitude took place so slowly that it went unnoticed by the ISS crew.
