Explosion Kills Two Soldiers in Yemen

An explosion has struck a military bus in Yemen's capital, killing at least two soldiers and wounding 10 others.

The blast happened early Tuesday in Sanaa as the troops were traveling to work.

There was no immediate claim of responsibility, but al-Qaida militants often attack Yemeni security forces. The Yemeni branch, known as Al-Qaida in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP), is considered one of the world's most active.

In December, AQAP said it was behind a suicide bombing at a hospital next to Yemen's defense ministry that killed 52 people.
