'Glee' Actor Found Dead at 31

Actor Cory Monteith arrives at the 12th Annual Chrysalis Butterfly Ball in Los Angeles, June 8, 2013.

A 31-year-old star of the U.S. television program Glee has been found dead in a Canada hotel room.

Police say hotel staff discovered Cory Monteith's body in his Vancouver hotel room Saturday. Hotel video footage showed him with other people on Friday evening but returning to his hotel room alone. Police say no foul play is suspected.

Monteith had completed treatment for substance abuse earlier this year, although there is no word yet on whether drugs or alcohol contributed to his death.

The actor played a high school football star and singer on Glee, which centers on a high school show choir and airs in more than 20 countries worldwide.
